Question 1: Take something which you are more familiar with than value---be it electricity, wealth, love, information, power, noise, or whatever, and discuss it under the aspects of substance, magnitude, and form.
[63] Zaskar: Outdoor Recreation Substance: Outdoor recreation in whatever form offers me a feeling of freedom and of well being. I receive and perceive value in engaging in activities outside. Location is not a condition of receiving value from these endeavors. It is simply a rejuvenation of spirit that comes to me as I enjoy my surroundings. I suppose it is the feelings of freedom and of rejuvenation that are the substance of these experiences. I interpret substance as the “use value” of the experience. Magnitude: The magnitude of my outdoor experience depends mainly of my frame of mind and the level of my aroused senses. I always enjoy my time in the out of doors but sometimes the intensity of my experience differs depending on many factors of my experience. This is what I consider the magnitude or level of the experience.
Form: The form of my outdoor recreation is a function of the type of recreation I choose. I may choose to use my mountain bike as a means of receiving value from my outdoor experience. The value of outdoor recreation can come in many forms and is generally independent from the magnitude or the substance of the experience.
Hans: You shouldn't think of form of value or value form of the product here. The form of outdoor recreation is the specific activity which you choose. Whether mointain biking, fishing, or skiing, these activities are just different ways to enjoy the outdoors.
