| There is a metaphorical relationship between religion and commodity. Marx explains it as a social phenomenon. I think religion itself is a phenomenon. Of all religions Christianity is the most fitting for the capitalist. Society treats its commodities as values, produced by homogeneous labor. Christianity fits in also as a value. Laborers united in the cause of religion, creating values. |
