This question <8|36> overall <15|17> Hans: <15|17>.
Exam Question 6: What is a commodity? Marx does not give the definition of a commodity but an analysis. How would you define the thing he analyses? (The answer can be given in one sentence.)
[16] Hans: How long should your submissions be?   After I encouraged Rollingrock to submit more than one answer because his trial answers number [5] and [6] consisted of only one short paragraph each, we received three answers from Rollingrock for this week instead of the required one answer, each of which was two to four times as long as the earlier submissions.
Please do not start a race here who can send the most answers to the list. We all lose from this. If your answers are as short as number [5] and [6], you may submit at most three; if they are as long as [7], [12], and [14], you should submit no more than two, but one good answer to a Question of the caliber of 49 and 51 is really all I could hope to ask for (and it can be done with an answer as long as [7] or [14]). You will not get a good grade if you substitute quantity for quality. Rollingrock's two submissions which came today, Numbers [12] and [14], were written too hastily. Lots of people have to read your stuff, therefore be considerate of not wasting their time.
