This question <42|12> overall <50|52> X: <330-52|71>.
Question 51: The value of a commodity does not increase if it is made by a slow or inept laborer. Explain carefully why not.
[51] X: Value of a commodity   The value of a commodity is not increased just because it takes one a long time to produce it. I do agree that the amount of labor it takes to make a commodity does increase its value. However, the labor added should be an amount equal to the average of all other workers combined. It is this average amount of labor that determines the value added, not just how long it takes someone to produce a commodity.
In fact, if a worker making a commodity is slow and inept, the commodity may actualy be unfit for use. This actually decreases its value while having above average labor added.
Hans: It is well written and there is this little tidbit which the other 8 submissions about Question 5 did not have, that the product of a slow worker may be unfit for use. However you simply cannot send in the 9th submission about the same Question without mentioning the others or putting your work in relation to them.
