Question 68: What is the difference between labor and labor power?
[54] Flea: Labor power inside labor Labor is in essence, the act of producing goods and services in any economy. However, Labor power is the actual time and skill needed to produce a certain good or service. Hence, labor power is the energy and time consumed producing the good, while labor is the whole system around labor power.
Hans: The difference you are describing is an important one: between production as a social process and the individual doing the actual work. But this is not Marx's difference between labor and labor power. There were already 3 right answers ([7], [30], [50]) and one wrong one ([52]) before your answer came in, and you show no awareness of those. This hurts your grade too.
