  Question 76: Labor does not exist in the abstract but must always be expended in some concrete form. How does it then show up that a commodity actually represents human labor in the abstract and not simply e.g. tailoring labor?   
  [80] Hans: One more sentence to finish answering 76   Everclear [79] showed very clearly and vividly that one cannot see the abtract labor in the use value of the commodity. Where then can one see the abstract labor? In the price tag, or in any other exchange relations the commodity has with other commodities.
