Question 62: Can you think of actions whose result is not one of its determinations?
[101] Dunny: Actions Result.   According to Marx, “Result” is considered a determination so from his point of view I would have to say No. But from my point of view I think that there are many whose actions result would not be a determination. In the example of the linen and the coat I would have to ask what do I want out of this? If I just wanted a nice linen sheet for the bed, it is done and is as satisfying and useful as the coat would be for the situation. Depending on the action and circumstance, the use-values could be equal for either commodity. It would be the same for rubber and the automobile. You need the rubber for the tires of the car or you would have a car without a use. At the same time the rubber can be used for a number of other commodities that satisfy given use.
One of the determinations could be taken earlier in the production process as an action and result.,
