This question <332-4|38> overall <332-4|333> Camera: <222|335-14>.
Question 69: Define abstract labor and explain why Marx's theory can be summarized as: “Under capitalism, labor has social significance only as abstract labor.” (This is a combination of Questions 69 and 70).
[332-6] Camera: Camera did not resubmit her exam. I like her sentence: “the only thing recognized socially is the expenditure of time and energy”, but a few words of explanation why society ignores all the fun aspects of the labor process would have been appropriate.
It is also wrong to say that the concept of abstract labor exists “in order to better analyze and measure labor as a whole.” This is an abstraction not only made in our heads but also in society.
