Question 611: Is human life something that has to be produced socially?
[16] Cleo: Human life is something that must be produced socially. We need each other for survival. Whether it be for companionship, or to aid in growing food for the simple reason of survival. Nothing in society ever occurs on its own. Activites that a group of people take part in and their relationships that exist among each other form a society. A society exists and is formed due to the processes that occur within it and the relationships that result. Every society has a process, and within the process there are contradictions. Processes in relationships never occur on their own, it requires the interaction of other humans. Processes and interactions always occur in groups, and relationships form and expand. Through time and experience, relationships change and evolve. Yet, there is no way that human life can survice solely on an individual basis. We need each other for survival, despite the fact that sometimes we may disagree and contradict and disagree with each other. For socially, we thrive on each, and on the changes that society creates.
