  [78] Kapitalism: The recycling of waste is creating a new commodity in which a commodity was not originally produced. When waste is exchanged, it is recycled or traded in this instance, and thus a new commodity is created from the original waste. Waste is a by product that is worthless as waste by itself, but it can exchanged and converted into a new commodity which has value.
