[94] Hans: Quality Labor Advertisements sometimes say that a product has “value”,
claiming that it is produced with extra care and therefore
has especially high quality, justifying that it may be
pricier than others. If I understand Disgusted's [93]
correctly, he thinks that Marx's concept of value is related
to this. The quantity of value is determined by “social
importance” (which I take to mean demand and supply), but in
a Marxian economy goods are dictated to have a price
depending on the labor content, due to the quality of value
which the product receives from this labor. Please tell me
that I am wrong and explain better what you meant, because
as it stands I have to give your submission the grade C-. |
