Question 334: Do you purchase something with money or with the value of money?
[645-5] James: Marx was quite specific in his explanation of money and the value of it. He explains that you indeed purchase something with the value of money seeing how money represents something purchased and something sold. Those two actions determine the value of the money. Thus when you compare the money value of an apple you are also comparing the value of that apple to an orange, a TV set, or a book. Thus the money does take on some sort of value.
