Question 88: Why did God create something as imperfect as nature and humans? (And what does this have to do with the topic at hand?) Compare chapter 1 in Cohen's Karl Marx's Theory of History: A Defence
[68] Rhese: Nature and Humans.   God created humans and nature to co-exist and develop over time so that both may live on earth. These two imperfections were created after god had put forth a certain amount of useful labor. God had created both as the product of his labor and therfore his labor was useful. God was satisfied with the product of his work and although the outcome was not perfect, the desired effect of his labor was achieved. Humans learn to co-exist with nature by using their labor skills and abilities to handle what nature brings whether good or bad. God may have known already that humans will adapt to nature over time.
