Question 117: Can a commodity express its value in the value of another commodity?
[94] MsMac: Value of Commodities.   Yes, a commodity can express its value in the value of another commodity. Later in this chapter, Marx goes on to say that the simplest value relation is the relation which makes one commodity exchange for another. People know that 20 yards of linen (commodity A) will exchange for 1 coat (commodity B). This is a value relation.
Hans: There were three substantial answers to the same question before yours. These other contributions cited each other and built on each other, but you just ignored them. This hurt your grade.
