Question 370: The empirical appearance of the processes of sale and purchase encourages a naive mistake, which makes it difficult to understand the metamorphosis of the commodity. Which mistake?
[563-12] BillyB: The naive mistake that is made is the equating the money commodity with another commodity like they're just plain ordinary commodities. One needs to comprehend the change of form a commodity makes. It changes from a commodity to money. One can't equate money and commodity as one in the same there is a metamorphosis that takes place. So to change a commodity into money is a metamorphosis not an exchange and therein lies the mistake.
