Question 77: Is it a character flaw to be lazy in an exploitive system?
[102] ADHH: In response to Thugtorious [101]
Regardless of how Marx wanted people to feel or act, wanting to be rewarded monetarily for time spent on behalf of a company is not a character flaw. Working at a job where you don't “value the production itself” or where you aren't “creating something from the world around you” is also not a character flaw. The issue is, if a person does not put in 100% effort all the time at an exploitive company, is that a character flaw? The answer is still no.
