This is the mailing list for answering the homework questions, submitting free discussion contributions, submitting exam resubmissions, and submitting term papers and term paper discussions.
To post a message to the homework mailing list, send email to
das-kapital@marx.econ.utah.edu.
The first line of this email must consist of a string of the kind
::Q: 123
where 123 should be replaced by the question number you are answering, or by the number 888 if you are making a contribution to the free discussion.

subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Das-Kapital
Subscribe to Das-Kapital by filling out the following
form.
You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to
prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the
list of members is available only to the list administrator.

Your name and after it UofU Student ID (if enrolled) as pure number, omit leading zeros and letter u
You may enter a
privacy password below. This provides only mild security,
but should prevent others from messing with your
subscription. Do not use a valuable password as
it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
If you choose not to enter a password, one will be
automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to
you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can
always request a mail-back of your password when you edit
your personal options.

Das-Kapital is an anonymous list.
It does not show your name or email address in the headers of your messages.
But for this list it is required that you specify
a pseudonym to be added to the list address in the From-field of your messages.
E.g. the pseudonym Johnny gives the From-field
"Johnny" <das-kapital@marx.econ.utah.edu>.
The pseudonym must consist of one word only,
starting with a capital letter, at least two letters long,
no hyphens or numbers allowed.
